Energy Efficiency of Internally Illuminated Signage

The overarching goal of this study was to develop a technology-independent method to characterize the energy efficiency of internally illuminated signs, specifically cabinet and channel letter signs. The proposed method described in this report builds on past research, mathematical analyses, and laboratory and field evaluations of sample signs.
